CHANGSHA, China May 21, 2024 /AsiaNet=연합뉴스/-- Actress and singer Victoria Song recently posted to her Instagram account stills from the hit TV drama she stars in, "Reblooming Blue" (Ling Yi Zhong Lan in Chinese). These scenes showcase the beauty of Chinese porcelain to a wider audience.

"Reblooming Blue" is produced by Mango TV and has attracted worldwide attention. Besides Mango TV, it is also available on international streaming platforms such as Viki, Line TV, MyVideo, LiTV, and KKTV, thus covering regions including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia. Moreover, iTalkBB in North America and Cambodian TV have also lined it up in their latest schedules.

Set in Jingdezhen, a city in south China's Jiangxi Province, the drama explores the region's rich ceramics culture and showcases the craftsmanship behind making Chinese-style porcelain.

Protagonist Chen Xiaoman, played by Victoria Song, decides to return to her hometown to revive her father's ceramic business after working in Beijing's finance industry for many years. During this change of scene, her former superior Ke Yan (played by CHOU YU MIN) also comes to her hometown to seek solutions for an unprecedented setback. The two support each other and bring in various innovations to revitalize the local porcelain manufacturing industry.

Jingdezhen has been a globally renowned capital of porcelain for over a thousand of years. Its particular style is popular worldwide and is described as being "as white as jade, as bright as a mirror, as thin as paper", and the sound that emanates when hit is said to be as loud as a chime. The story of Jingdezhen could perhaps represent half the history of the world's ceramics industry.

For audiences around the globe, "Reblooming Blue" has offered an insight into China's porcelain culture to experience alongside the protagonist Chen Xiaoman, as well as a glimpse of the kiln fires of Jingdezhen that have burned continuously for thousands of years.
