Three subsidiaries of LG Group have joined forces to win a contract to build an artificial intelligence (AI) data center in Indonesia. With the global surge in AI-driven technologies, the demand for data centers has grown rapidly to create tons of market opportunities.

As part of their effort to win the $300 million contract, LG CNS, LG Electronics Inc., and LG Energy Solution, Ltd. united to create a task force (TF) where they share their expertise.

Each company will bring its core expertise to the TF Team called One LG Solution.

In Southeast Asia, an area prone to earthquakes that is also known as Ring of Fire, LG CNS‘s seismic isolation is a critical technology neccesary for safe design. The structures equipped with the technology have rubber column dampers that absorb vibrations by swaying side to side during earthquakes. The absorption protects sensitive equipment inside buildings from earthquake forces.

LG Energy Solution will provide advanced batteries and other innovations. The batteries will keep data centers reliable even in power outages and other unexpected incidents.
