The final chapter of Marvel Studio’s apocalyptic super hero series “Avengers: Endgame” replaced all records for a foreign film in Korea, including the highest-grossing title.

According to the movie’s local distributor Walt Disney Company Korea on Sunday, the latest Marvel saga was seen by 13.4 million as of 11:45 a.m. based on the Korean Film Council’s ticket sales data, bringing down “Avatar” from the peak it dominated for the last decade with 13.3 million.

Six foreign films have broken the 10 million-view record so far in Korea including “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018, 11.2 million), “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (2015, 10.5 million), “Interstellar” (2014, 10.3 million), and “Frozen” (2013, 10.3 million).
