Naver Corp. announced on Tuesday that it will be launching a new version of its PC and mobile app, leveraging advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology to expand its recommendation services. The official release of this new app is scheduled for November 2.
The new app is organized into the Shopping, Home, Content, and Clip tabs, and users can access their desired service directly.
A standout feature is the introduction of the “Home Feed,” a personalized content recommendation service located at the bottom of the home screen. With this feature, Naver aims to deliver content that aligns with users’ individual preferences and interests.
Naver added that it integrated its in-house AI content recommendation system “AiRS” to expand the content offerings. This integration not only promises to benefit content creators by providing them with more exposure opportunities but also enhances users’ ability to explore and discover content that suits their unique interests.
A notable addition to the app is the Clip tab, located at the far right of the bottom tabs. This section introduces Naver’s new short-form content service, which focuses on delivering various short-form content types, including K-pop, fashion, beauty, and more. Users can receive personalized recommendations based on their specific interests within this category.
