South Korean discount store Lotte Mart announced on Tuesday that it will hold a two-week-long grocery shopping event from Thursday to celebrate its 27th anniversary.

Lotte Mart made headlines earlier this month by offering pork belly for just 700 won ($0.48) per 100 grams.

The upcoming Thank You Festival is the largest integrated online and offline promotion event of the year, hosted jointly by Lotte Mart, Lotte Super, its warehouse-style discount store Maxx, and the Lotte online mall.

It will offer half-off discounts on a selection of popular products.

Select fresh foods will be available at the lowest prices of the year in the first week of the event, which runs until April 2.

All first-grade Korean beef products (per 100g) will be offered at 50 percent off when purchased with a designated promotional card.

On the opening day of the festival, a special deal will feature first-grade Korean beef for soups and bulgogi, which will be discounted by 67 percent from the regular price of 5,980 won per 100 grams to just 1,974 won each.
