South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Co. announced on Wednesday that it has launched The New Staria, a facelifted version of its multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Staria.
The New Staria is a partial update model unveiled nearly five years after the original Staria was first launched in April 2021, with improvements in space utilization and convenience.
At the front, the previous three-segment daytime running lights have been replaced by a single continuous horizontal lamp, while the 10.25-inch cluster and infotainment screens have been upgraded to larger 2.3-inch displays.
In terms of powertrains, the lineup includes hybrid and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) models. The hybrid version is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo hybrid engine, delivering fuel efficiency of up to 13.1 kilometer per liter, maximum output of 180 horsepower, and peak torque of 27 kgf·m.
The LPG version features a Smartstream 3.5 LPG engine, offering fuel efficiency of up to 6.9km per liter, maximum output of 240 horsepower, and peak torque of 32 kgf·m.
Pricing for the New Staria starts at 32.59 million won ($22,050) to 38.2 million won for the Cargo model, 35.02 million won to 39.99 million won for the Tourer, and 47.05 million won to 48.76 million won for the premium Lounge model.
